I ran 2 miles in 20 minutes 40 seconds!!!
That means that I am on par to meet my goal of a 30 minute 5k!
My first 5k is on March 31st and at the rate I'm going, I'm not only on track to meet my goal-
but to exceed it.
I'm thrilled to say the least!
Now...
onto my weight workout.
Happy Monday Y'all!
Very Proud of you - Keep up the great job
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mom!!!
DeleteYES MA'AM! That is awesome - I bet you did a happy dance when you saw that time! Keep it up - you will rock your 5K!
ReplyDeleteOf course I did a happy dance after that!!
DeleteI should totally be running a 10k at the end of March instead of a 5k, but I really wanted to work on my speed. I've read a lot of running blogs, articles, etc and they all recommend that beginning runners {I'm not really a "beginner", it's just been a few years since I have been running like this on a regular basis} are at least at a 30 minute 5k pace before you begin your intense half marathon training. So, that's what I've been working on :)
