Because I have not experienced pain at this level in quite a while, today's the {faith} filled life post will be brief. Yet, it is my prayer that even in the midst of my pain and suffering, that much glory will be given to the Lord and His Kingdom purposes. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 is a passage of Scripture that I immediately cling to when I am presently struggling with the pain associated with fibromyalgia. It reads:
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
Abba,
Thank you for Your gift of grace. Though my body is weak, Your Word tells me that Your Strength and Your Power will radiate through me because Christ dwells in me. Be my Comfort... my Shepherd... my Healer this day. And as always, may my life bring You glory. It is in the name of Jesus that I bring these requests to you.
Amen
