Mornings with Meg

Hey Y'all!

I hope that you are having a fabulous weekend so far!
I know we are here in East Texas :)

Anyway, I wanted to share briefly with all of you something that the Lord has put on my heart.
I feel that God is asking me to step out in faith and begin a virtual Bible study.
I love to study God's Word and I enjoy teaching- but doing so with a virtual audience is something completely out of my comfort zone. So I'd like to ask a favor of you- will you, number one, join me as I continue to pray for God's guidance and direction, as I do not want to pursue this if it is not His will. Number two, is this something that y'all would even be mildly interested in? And number three, if you are interested, what are some topics you wish to study? Are there any books of the Bible you would like to walk through together? This will just give me an idea and a starting point before I begin filming each devotional.

Leave a comment below and let me know what you think :)

  1. I'm in! I'm going to hunkered down in the house for the next couple months with Lucy so this would be perfect! I'll get back with you on topics or books of the bible I'm interested in, I'll have to think on that one :). Lookin forward to this!

  2. I have always been an Esther fan. Her courage and determination are so admirable. Btw...count me in. :-)

  3. I am in, I love the book of James, I get so much out of that book of the Bible everytime I read it. The other book is Daniel. I love the story of Esther too. We do not have a group of Ladies that get together at my church so I would love the opportunity to read what other ladies have on ther minds. :) jurystillout aka Wendy

  4. Yes, I love this idea! I am really needing financial faith right now and being a stay at home mom (preferable) vs. working if you want to cover that area at all!

  7. After thinking about it a couple things I've been wanting to study lately is the power of the Holy Spirit in us. It's something I'm really thinking a lot about as I am about to travel to the DRC and have to face some scary things in bringing Lucy home. I need the power of the Holy Spirit more than ever! A book of the bible that I've always wanted to study is Deuteronomy, such good stuff in there! I'm up for anything though! Excited to see what you choose!

  8. These are all such great ideas, ladies! Thank you for your suggestions :) I am taking this week to pray over and begin studying for this new Bible study. My goal is to start filming the first few segments this weekend to post next week. My Mom and sister will be in town visiting next week, so we'll see if that actually gets done. lol Regardless, I will begin the Bible study by the end of the month :)

I'm really looking forward to how God is going to work in all of this! It's exciting!

    1. It will be a Bible study via video. I will film several devotionals and post them every morning around 5-5:30. At the end of each week there will be a link up that you can share what God taught you through the Bible study.

I am looking into creating a Google+ page for the blog and I will check into making some sort of group just for the Bible study (like a facebook page)where you can discuss with others throughout the week :)
